One questions I am asked often is about the time it takes for extensions to dry after they're washed. Well, we suggest hanging your extensions over a towel and letting them air dry naturally. While this method is ideal, it isn't always practical, which is why we here at Pelo Hair Los Angeles are providing a few tips to quickly drying hair extensions when the towel method isn't an option.
1. Brush the hair with a wide comb when wet to remove most of the moisture. Do not use a brush.
2. Blot the hair with a towel. Repeat ten times in a row.
3. Blow dry the hair with a cool blow dryer, not hot.
TIP: Garnier Fructis has a great line of "blow dry protector" products. While the above method should only be used in a hair-emergency, it is a great idea to keep a Garnier Fructis product on hand. We also have a private label product for detangling hair that is great for after a regular air dry process or blow dry method on hair extensions.
So, keep sending in those great hair extension questions. They really are great.
